This was a friendly match for the U13s against Surrey at Reigate Heath.
The day started with a last-minute withdrawal of Tommy McCLEAN due to a parent filling their diesel car with petrol. One of the Surrey players took his place.
The team captain for the day was Alfie DORRINGTON, who led both on and off the field, winning his match comfortably. There were five (5) members of the squad that successful retained the Keith Bass Trophy, the previous week. Some of the tips and preparations, for that competition had filtered through and were being used by them, which was then followed by the rest of the team.
The match ended in an honourable draw.
