Team of six Essex Colts. Shay McQueen (Brentwood), Oliver Allison (Colchester), Billy Gunyon (Thorp Hall), Beau Brunning (Three Rivers), Bradley Coombes & Harry Wood (Orsett).
A large field of 63 and, as always, the course in excellent condition.
With none of our players doing too well in the morning the aim was to improve your score in the afternoon. Oliver did exactly that - +7 in the morning and then the top score of -2 in the afternoon to finish in 5th position overall.
In the team event Oliver, Bradley & Shay were runners-up just two strokes behind BB&O.
A great day played in excellent spirit but regrettably no trophies to bring home this year.
