ENGLISH WOMEN'S CHAMPION CLUB
Each County Association affiliated to England Golf may nominate one club to enter a team in the English Women's Champion Club. Teams will consist of three players from the nominated club. The Championship consists of 36 holes of scratch stroke play over the two days, Saturday and Sunday. The winning club shall be the club with the lowest combined score of the best two players from each day.
Each year Essex Golf will nominate the club winning the Silver Shield to play in this competition. If the winning Club does not wish to enter the competition the runners-up may enter in place of the winners.
The nominated club will be representing their Club in this competition and not the County and will therefore be responsible for all expenses including entry fees, travel and accommodation. Further details can be found on the England Golf website in the competition list for the current year.
