ESSEX SENIORS v KENT
Our match against Kent this year was at West Kent GC on Thursday 31st July. As we have to come expect in July we had thunder storms and torrential rain ! We started the match just as the heavens opened, this got progressively worse until thunder was heard and we had to leave the course for around 30 minutes. This did not spoil the enjoyment of a lovely golf course in great condition. The matches were close with the last two going to the 18th hole. Kent secured the win with an overall result of 4 - 2.
